Steps to a New Job It’s not always what you know. It can be who you know—and you should know us! And you should get to know what my colleague Bill Radin, a well-known recruiter and trainer, has written about considering a job change.
As you may know, the large majority of available job opportunities are not listed in newspapers, trade journals, or at job fairs. But when you partner with Paragon Recruiting, you have an on-line link to some of the hottest jobs in West Michigan! We identify the companies that meet your career expectations and market your skills directly to them. By partnering with our client companies, we understand their long-term plans and know the type of people they hire, before there’s a posted opening.
We’ll thoroughly review your résumé and then audit our Current Openings.
After comparing your qualifications to our open positions, we’ll discuss specific opportunities that meet your needs. When we find a match, we’ll ask if you’re interested and, with your permission, submit your resume.
If we don’t find a match right away, we’ll keep your résumé in our database, which is thoroughly searched every time we receive a new job opening. We will contact you again to confirm your interest and availability before submitting your résumé.
We have many client companies with whom we partner, keeping them always aware of top talent. These are firms we’ll initiate conversations with to see how timing might be for adding staff based on industry or technology expertise that would be valuable to them. We believe in helping candidates improve their probability of a successful career move.
When you approach an interview with preparation and thoughtful questions you’ll be in a better position for taking things to the next step in the interviewing process. It’s vital to consider what’s important to you in a new position or company and to develop questions that will help you determine if it’s the right company and opportunity for you. We’ll work together on developing an interview strategy to get the best long-term results: the right fit for you and the employer.
Paragon Recruiting provides direct placement; contract placement for a specific project or defined time period; and contract-to-hire placement (candidates remain Paragon employees for six months and then may be hired by the client company). All fees are paid by our client companies, not our candidates.
Contract-placement employees of Paragon receive the following benefits: • 2 week pay periods (direct deposit) • Vacation pay • Holiday pay • Referral bonus • Medical insurance
Did you know that the majority of positions filled are never advertised?
Review our current and on-going opportunities for contract and direct-hire placement. After identifying a position that you have interest in, you can forward your resume through our website for consideration. If you don’t see any current positions that fit your background feel free to forward your resume and we will review it for direct marketing to firms that have expressed on-going needs for top performers in specialized fields. We know companies’ cultures and have an inside track on their staffing “wish list.” That means once we understand your career expectations we can directly market you to the companies whose environment match your needs.
