Embedded Software Engineer~$80-$100K – PENDING START

Design, test and document Embedded software programs for computer products to achieve assigned objectives.

Provide guidance, input and assistance to departmental personnel to achieve company objectives.

Formulate accurate project design time, cost estimates and resource estimates for assigned objectives.

Provide assistance to manufacturing and customer service as necessary to support company objectives.

Provide creative input and new product or existing product ideas to the organization.

Insist in high quality; lowest cost designs that meet customer requirements.

Evaluate competitive equipment and systems to provide assistance in identifying competitive advantages.

Perform projects as assigned.

Absolute/Must haves:

• Hardware design and programming micro controllers

Education: A Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical & Industry Experience:

Experience in full software life cycle desired

The ability to write in C and C++ in an embedded environment.

Formulate accurate project timelines and estimates for original objectives

Maintain a working knowledge of new developments in the software field.

A basic understanding of digital circuit design.

A basic understanding of analog circuit design.

Experience with embedded operating systems.

Maintain an excellent general engineering background.

Maintain knowledge of Weights and Measures requirements.

The ability to complete tasks assigned with minimal supervision.
