•Networking principles and protocols including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SD-WAN, EIGRP, OSPF, QOS, and VLANs
Responsibilities
•This is a full-time position that will support both redundant branch networks of 26 sites and 2 datacenters
•Also, responsible for core vendor network connections and redundancy to their back-up networks
•Responsible for developing and maintaining the core network infrastructure
•Will be responsible for key vendor relationships regarding the core network including Cisco, FISERV, Meraki, Microsoft, Cisco Umbrella, Cloudflare, and Fireeye
•Handle infrastructure and related connectivity and security issues
•Perform administration functions and maintenance of systems and networks
•Software and hardware installation, maintenance, patching and upgrading
•Perform or assist in researching, troubleshooting, and diagnosing production problems and correcting identified issues
•Work with end-users and department teams as required to provide problem resolution
•Monitor and manage network system resources
•Research solutions for advancing system performance and security
•Maintain system documentation and logs
•Adhere to formal processes, industry standards, and quality practices in all activities
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, policies, and procedures
•Administrators leadership and mentorship
•Manage vendor relationships as they relate to the network infrastructure
•Maintain knowledge of current and future industry trends
•Data center management and best practices, Load balancing/HA best practices,
•Secure Remote Access and Network Troubleshooting, patching and updating
