The Unity Software Developer will be responsible for designing and developing experiences using a Brunswick Unity Development Kit. The development kit comes in the form of a Unity package that includes the framework necessary to create a customized experience as well as a sample for reference. The developer should be able to:

  • take broadly formed ideas and general design direction to create specific samples and story boards
  • once approved, implement the story boards as scenes within the C#-based Brunswick Unity Development Kit.
  • test and debug assets, scripts, shaders, and scene performance using provided tools
  • export the generated scenes and dependencies as a Unity Package for system integration.
  • assist with the integration and debugging of the Unity Package in the overall system.

This role includes working with Product Management on general ideation, design, and game play concepts. The right candidate will have a willingness to experiment, an eye for design and the technical skill to go from concept to reality.

This role can be remote. Some initial on-site training will be required to learn the unique visual context. Other occasional on-site work for validating the scenes may also be required.

We’re looking for a full-time hire, but also open to Contract to Hire and Work-specific contracts for the right candidate.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

100%Design, develop, implement, and validate visual experiences using the supplied Unity Development Kit.


Minimum Position Qualifications:


–          Minimum of 2 years working in Unity

–          Real world Unity based project portfolio or equivalent

–          Understanding of Unity’s package import/export system

–          Proven knowledge of C#

–          Experience using graphic design tools such as Gimp/Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalent

–          Imagination

–          Ability to give and receive constructive criticism

Education LevelBachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Game Design, a related field, or the equivalent experience


  • Ability to quickly iterate through design, visual, and gameplay concepts.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Commercial / production software experience
  • Comfortable interacting with end users / customers
